As part of the Faculty's efforts toward achieving
institutional and program accreditation, a workshop entitled "Test Item
Construction" was held on May 11 at the Quality Assurance Unit.
The workshop was delivered by Associate Professor Dr.
Naguiba Abdel Hafeez, Deputy Director of the Measurement and Evaluation
Unit at the Faculty.
The workshop covered the following topics:
- How to construct test items.
- How to prepare a table of
specifications.
- Relative weight and its
application in assessment.
- Preparing practical
examinations in the field of arts.
- Designing rubrics for grading
and assessment criteria.
